Read This, We Dare You.
This 40-page perfect bound book was created as a yield piece to entice students who have been admitted to the Class of 2022 but have not yet deposited and enrolled. Each book has been personalized with their name and showcases WC's key differentiators, unique programs, and successful alumni. WC is "daring" students to enroll and take advantage of all the college has to offer. We used language and images that you'd be hard-pressed to find in your average admissions piece, e.g. the student with the pipette, or laughing students in autumn under a large tree, instead asking students to step outside of their comfort zones.

Washington Alumni Magazine
With its thematic focus on business and entrepreneurship, this Spring 2018 issue of Washington College Magazine communicates the power of a liberal arts education to prepare successful graduates who are makers, innovators, and doers. The features include stories about a pair of former baseball players building a brand of flavored waters in environmentally sustainable packaging, an English major with a start-up business supplying insects as environmentally sustainable food sources to restaurants in New Zealand, and a former music major who is owner and CEO of the world’s largest kit-boat building company. A group of students who manage a portfolio valued at nearly one million dollars is just as eager to make their mark in the financial world. The strength of this issue is both in the content—and like Rethink Water products—in the packaging. In a departure from typical cover illustrations or photography—and from the uncoated sheet we typically use—we opted for a bold, graphic cover treatment with an “executive” flair. The 48-page perfect-bound magazine, produced three times a year, is mailed to approximately 17,000 alumni, parents, and friends of Washington College. Please note: The cover of this special issue about some of Washington College's business leaders, entrepreneurs, and business programs "pops." Departing from our usual magazine paper selection, we chose a new sheet that would best show off a spot UV printing technique.
